The wild Mallorcan goatThe wild Mallorcan goat is only found in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and Artà mountains.

The wild Mallorcan goat

It descends from the domestic goat, which was brought over by the first colonisers.

Most likely, it co-existed with the endemic and extinct Myotragus, contributing to its disappearance. It typically has horns and is brownish-red in colour.
