Currently, the surface demarcated by the visible presence of the archaeological remains of varying periods exceeds 3 hectares. Son Fornés was declared an Artistic Historical Monument by decree no. 2563 of the 10th of October 1966.

The Archeological Museum of Son Fornés

This is a monagraphic museum. It houses all the finds made on the site, which is located 2.4 km from the museum. Current exhibition shows the results of long term research based on the first 8 excavation campaigns (up until 1988), although it is predicted that the new finds will also be integrated here once current studies are finished.

November-February 10 a.m.-14 p.m., in the evening visits only by appointment (tel 971 644 169).

Open everyday except on MONDAYS.
